galaxies are the units of diffrent planets andv stars that makeup the solar system .

the milky way :

the milky way is the galaxy that  the earth sun moon and other planets belong to . the milky way is made up of many diffrent planets shiny stars and vacum . it is so big that no one knows that where it finishes :D

are there really no stars in the day ? :(

well if u r thinking that there are no stars in the day so u better straighten up becoz in the day time stars are there upthe sky but u cannot see them because of the sun's light . Beleive me its too bright . but on the bright side u still see a star up in the sky .that is the sun . the sun is the the most nearest star to us .  it takes the light from the sun 8 minutes to reach the earth but distant stars take more time to reach us .

do u know that the next nearest star to the earth is proxima cetauri  . it is 4.2 light years away so the light from proxima centari takes 4.2 light years to reach the earth so wheever we look at the light from distant stars we r looking back in time . :o :o
